We’re a 100% volunteer, nonprofit club maintaining a major thoroughfare that connects Bingham, The Forks, Greenville, and Brownville—one of the most vital links in Maine’s snowmobile network. Also- our trails provide key access to ITS 86 and ITS 85, two of Maine’s most important and notorious snowmobile corridors. We’re located in Shirley, just south of the Moosehead/Greenville area. Our journey began on December 30, 2010, when we held our very first organizing meeting. Like Greenville, Shirley boasts plenty of snow, breathtaking vistas, and an extensive network of logging trails. Our name, Shirley Bog Trail Busters, comes from the two bogs that define our town. Last year, we proudly groomed over 38 miles of trails—and we still found the energy to host fun socials for our members!
